It suits travellers who spend the day out on beaches, walks and excursions and want dinner ready in the evening, without paying for meals they will not eat. It is often cheaper than all-inclusive, especially in destinations with plenty of places to eat out.

Hotels are marked family-friendly when the hotel or the partner recommends them for families, or when they have a kids’ club, a children’s pool and family rooms. In many packages one or two children stay free or at a discount: check the terms of each deal.
